Ontario's Government working for the People is supporting the economy in the Township of Seguin by expanding the Parry Sound Airport industrial park to accommodate new businesses.

Today, Norman Miller, MPP for Parry Sound-Muskoka, announced Ontario is making a $495,000 investment in the Parry Sound Area Municipal Airport to support phase eight of its business park expansion project. This involves site preparation and the extension of hydro, water and septic services.

"Ontario is committed to creating and supporting new and sustainable economic development opportunities in northern communities," said MPP Miller. "With this investment, we're helping create more jobs in the Parry Sound area and signaling that Northern Ontario, and every corner of our province is open for business."

"We thank the province for helping us expand our airport's industrial park to welcome new businesses and create jobs in our region," said Ann MacDiarmid, Mayor for the Township of Seguin. "We are pleased NOHFC is investing in our latest effort to bring new companies and more jobs to the area."
