Ian Bristow, finance director at Symphony Environmental Technologies plc (LON:SYM), discusses with Proactive's Andrew Scott developments in Pakistan as they work to get tough on plastic pollution.

Reports from the country indicate that the Supreme Court of the Sindh Province has ordered the government to enforce The Sindh Environmental Protection Act and that the police have been directed to take action against those who violate it.

''It's a major step forward'', Bristow says.

''We're hoping over the next couple of months we should see an uptick in that area ...we've got a very strong distributor in Pakistan ... this is really a great sign for oxo and momentum's moving in the right direction''.
