Parikh Returns to AWDC President Role

RAPAPORT... The Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) has appointed Nishit (Bali) Parikh president, a position he held from 2010to 2012, its board said last week.Parikh (pictured), the CEO of Diarough, will replaceoutgoing president St?(C)phane Fischler, who is stepping down as AWDC head to take on the global role of president at the WorldDiamond Council (WDC). Fischler has served as president of the AWDC since 2012."Continuity, stability and a formidable personality are allessential elements in the diamond trade, and Bali...embodies all thesequalities," said AWDC CEO Ari Epstein.
