Platinum Guild Appoints Senior Vice President

Platinum Guild International (PGI) has promoted Kevin Reilly to senior vice president following a 16-year tenure with the trade organization.In his new role, Reilly, who has been vice president since 2006, will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with companies at all levels of the supply chain and formulating programs to help them build their platinum-jewelry businesses, PGI said Tuesday. Reilly also leads the group's education initiatives, including in-person and virtual sales training for retail sales professionals and technical education for bench jewelers. During his time with PGI, he has established relationships with academic institutions and encouraged them to add platinum education to their jewelry studies curricula. "[Kevin's] contribution to this organization would be impossible to contain in a single press release," said PGI USA president Jenny Luker. "His endless passion for education, training and relationship-building sets him apart from all others.
