POLAND REBAR: Prices flat, demand begins to slow

Prices for steel rebar in Poland were unchanged over the past seven days, while demand slowed down toward the end of the week, sources told Fastmarkets on April 17.

Trading activity in the Polish rebar market declined at the end of the week end, with most buyers already well stocked for material, sources said.
Additionally, construction activity was also reported to be slightly weaker due to the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, sources said.
"Stockists' warehouses are filled, with many construction companies are having problems with new building permits while public offices in Poland are still closed," one source in Poland told Fastmarkets.
