PRICING NOTICE: Clarification of Fastmarkets' arsenic price assessment specification

November 10, 2020 / www.metalbulletin.com / Article Link

During a review of its specifications, Fastmarkets has identified a necessary clarification to the specification for its arsenic price assessment.

Fastmarkets has updated the price description of its fortnightly price assessment for arsenic to Arsenic, 99% min As, in-whs Rotterdam, $ per lb, to match the quality listed in the detail specification list. It previously, and erroneously, was listed as Arsenic, 99.7% min As, in-whs Rotterdam, $ per lb, although the quality listed in the detailed specifications was correct.
Fastmarkets has also updated the frequency of publication to fortnightly, reflecting a change made in February 2016.
Fastmarkets confirms that the specifications read as follows, following the clarification:
MB-AS-0001 Arsenic 99% min As, in-whs Rotterdam, $ per lb
Quality: Lumpy, fist-sized and smaller. As 99% min, no other elements specified
Quantity: 1 tonne ( ?2%)
Location: In-whs Rotterdam
Timing: Prompt release
Unit: USD per lb
Payment terms: Cash, other payment terms normalized
Publication: Fortnightly. Friday 2-3pm London time.
