SEOUL, Jan 22 (Reuters) - South Korea is "positively considering" issuing a 50-year treasury bond and will review the matter after studying market demand, the finance minister on Monday.
"I've heard that there is market demand for 50-year treasury bonds and am quite positively considering the issuance," Finance MinisterKim Dong-yeon said in response to a reporter's question.
South Korea issues 50-year treasury bonds on an irregular basis.
