Cabral Gold indicates this finding at Cui? Cui?'s Machichie NE target is "highly encouraging."

In a news release, Cabral Gold Inc. (CBR:TSX.V; CBGZF:OTCMKTS) announced the results of follow-up drilling at the blind Machichie NE target at its Cui? Cui? project in Brazil.

These results are of four of five reverse circulation (RC) holes Cabral drilled at the target, 150 meters (150m) north of the Machichie discovery. The purpose was to further investigate the area that returned a mineralized intercept in 2019.

New highlight assays include 8m of 3.3 grams per ton (3.3 g/t) gold (hole RC45), 17m of 0.8 g/t gold including 4m of 2.9 g/t gold (hole RC42) and 26m of 0.5 g/t gold (hole RC43).

These results "confirm the presence of another potentially significant mineralized structure just 150m north of Machichie and suggests that the structure has a subvertical dip and an east-to-west orientation and is subparallel to the main Machichie zone," the release noted.

Results are pending for the fifth hole, RC46.

As for what is happening at and planned for the main Machichie structure, Cabral is now drilling there with the larger Prospector W750 RC rig. It completed four holes and is awaiting the results. After the company completes a fifth and final hole, it will drill several infill and stepout holes further west along Machichie.

After that, Cabral stated that it will shift its focus to the Machichie SW target area, where it will drill test a number of the northeast-trending, high-grade vein structures exposed on surface.

"The initial follow-up drill results from the Machichie NE target confirm the presence of another mineralized structure just 150m north of the Machichie discovery, which is highly encouraging," Cabral President and CEO Alan Carter said. "Whilst it is early days for this particular target, the close proximity to the recent Machichie discovery, and the fact that gold mineralization continues down-dip and extends along strike for at least 100m, suggests we could be on to another significant mineralized zone. Further drilling will be necessary to determine the size of the mineralized zone at this exciting emerging target."

"The Cui? Cui? district continues to both surprise and deliver exciting new targets, and we look forward to additional drill results on a number of high-grade targets in the coming months outside of the two known deposits of MG and Central," Carter concluded.
