Rusal calls for new Nornickel management

UC Rusal, Nornickel's second-largest shareholder, has called for a change in the latter's management, following three polluting events in six weeks within Nornickel.

In a statement issued on Tuesday July 14, Rusal questioned the competence of Nornickel management and its board of directors, saying: "[T]hrough their collective inertia, this is likely to lead to severe and damaging criticism from the environmental and investment communities.
