RUSSIA REBAR: Prices flat as demand cools on construction slowdown

Domestic steel rebar prices in Russia's Central Federal District around Moscow were broadly stable over the seven days to Monday November 9 in a seasonally slower market, sources have told Fastmarkets.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel reinforcing bar (rebar), domestic, cpt Moscow, Russia, remained at 40,000-41,000 roubles ($516-529) per tonne including 20% VAT on Monday.
In US dollar terms, however, the price increased over the week due to the strengthening value of the Russian rouble.
