(IDEX Online) - Sarine Technologies Ltd has opened a new service center for Sarine ProfileTM diamond reports in Tokyo, servicing retailers and the polished diamond trade in Japan.

The new service centre has been opened in cooperation with a veteran local partner in Tokyo, who will provide the necessary infrastructure and manpower. Their team has been trained in the use of Sarine Profile by Sarine personnel.

The Sarine Profile reports will include all the assessment, imaging, and documentation parameters, including light performance grading, Hearts and Arrows analysis, Cut grading, Sarine Loupe imaging, along with Sarine's Diamond Journey, which illustrates the diamond's story from original rough to polished diamond. Sarine decided to open the service centre in response to the growing demand for Sarine Profile reports in the Japanese retail market. The company is confident it will be able to offer excellent and timely services to the diamond industry in Japan.

David Block, CEO of the Group, commented, "Sarine first offered light performance reports in Japan in 2013 to its launch customer CIMA, a leading retailer in Japan for diamond bridal jewelry that operates two store brands (Exelco and Ginza Diamond Shiraishi). Since then, the demand for Sarine's light performance grading reports has expanded significantly, and today additional leading retailers such as K-Uno, Sadamatsu (Festaria), Verite (Maharaja), Imayo and many others use these services. With the growing demand for the complete Sarine Profile report and the Sarine Diamond Journey in Japan, we realized that we must be able to offer a timely service locally in Japan."
