SHFE STOCKS REPORT 10/02: Most base metals inventories rise ahead of China holiday; tin drops 0.7%

Inventories of base metals, with the exception of tin, increased in Shanghai Futures Exchange-registered warehouses this week, with zinc gaining the most in percentage terms at 14.9%, according to the stocks report on Wednesday February 10 - the last day of trading for the exchange before the start of the Chinese New Year holidays.

Zinc inventories stood at 69,366 tonnes on Wednesday, an increase of 9,005 tonnes from 60,361 tonnes on February 5.The inflows mainly came into warehouses operated by R&S Logistics...
