(IDEX Online) - Signet has donated $1m to provide COVID-19 jabs for school staff in Akron, Ohio, USA.The jeweler has a long-standing charitable link with the city's Akron Children's Hospital, which had to suspend many non-essential procedures last year because of the pandemic."This gift comes at a critical time to help provide a valuable service to our local schools so our kids and their teachers can meet in-person safely and we may continue to do our part in combating the pandemic," said Grace Wakulchik, the hospital's president and CEO. The hospital is working with several local districts and schools to provide COVID-19 vaccinations.
