Professor Sir James Fraser Stoddart, Northwestern University, United States.Professor Sir James Fraser Stoddart works with supramolecular chemistry and nanotechnology, and is famous for his development of methods for creating mechanically interlocked molecules. He was knighted in 2007, the year after he and two other chemists were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
