Kerim Sener, managing director of Ariana Resources plc (LON:AAU), tells Proactive Investors they produced 4,866 ounces of gold from the Kiziltepe project in Turkey during the first quarter to March 31 - an 8% increase quarter on quarter.
Ariana's expecting to produce 20,000 ounces for the full year.
Sener also discusses the recent boost to their resource base at the Tavsan project to 3.98mln tonnes grading 1.32 grams per tonne gold.
There's also 4.46 grams per tonne silver.
