Today's update includes information about where is my stimulus money, why haven't I received my stimulus check yet, and when should I expect it. First things first, the IRS and Treasury Department have indicated that direct deposits may take up to 2 weeks to fully process all direct deposits (end of April). There also doesn't appear to be any priority for receiving these stimulus checks if your income is lower. If you get into the portal and you enter a queue, please wait in the queue. Refreshing could lock you out of the portal. Then you should be able to receive information on your stimulus check and/or update your banking information. There is also a glitch IF you enter $0 for refund or amount due (IRS is working on this). If you get your stimulus check and the amount is wrong, you might have to wait for a letter to arrive up to 15 days after you receive your stimulus check with instructions to dispute this.The H&R Block Emerald Card is also having glitch issues and you may see a delay if you deposit is going through Turbo Tax or H&R Block. If you're behind on child support, expect your stimulus check to be diverted/intercepted. Be careful of debt collectors as well. Do NOT give anyone your social either and make sure you do not answer phone requests or click on links in email addresses. Remember, freeze your credit to protect your identity and your credit portfolio. The last thing you want is your identity stolen AND your stimulus stolen.The PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) is out of funds but Chase has listed an announcement that updates on first-round approvals will be announced tomorrow morning. If you were not approved, it's not clear whether or not you'll receive a notification as well. I'm assuming, if tomorrow evening rolls around and you do not have an approval, you probably didn't get approved in this round.
