LONDON, 5 May 2019 - The UK's second biggest-selling Sunday broadsheet, the Sunday Telegraph, today publishes comment from BullionVault on this week's 20th anniversary of Britain's heavy national gold sales under then-Chancellor Gordon Brown.

Describing it as "the single worst investment decision of modern times", the announcement "shook the market" says BullionVault director of research Adrian Ash, "causing the price to plummet by around 10% before the metal was auctioned off."
