It's such a simple contest that it's almost trivial, even though it's not trivia.

Here's the contest: Whoever can guess the closest closing spot price of silver to close out the year on December 31st, 2018, will win a brand new, shiny 2019 American Silver Eagle!

The closest to the spot price, that is, either above or below it - this is Silver Doctors, not The Price Is Right!

You have until the end of this weekend (11:59 p.m. EST on Sunday, November 25th) to make your guess within this post.

Here's the catch: Those people who comment anonymously and individuals outside of the United States aren't eligible.

That means go register at Spot.im for an account so you can make your guess as a registered user. That also means make sure you have a valid US mailing address.

The contest really is that simple, and so is the registration.

In the event of a tie, the person who made his or her guess first will be the winner.

We will announce the winner on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019, and we'll instruct the winner where to send us a private email with his or her address so we can mail out the coin.

It really is as simple as that.
