U.S. equity index futures were higher this morning. S&P 500 futures were up 6 points in pre-opening trade.

Marriott International dropped $3.53 to $125.75 after reporting lower than consensus second quarter revenues.

Mosaic (MOS $30.10) is expected to open higher after reporting higher than consensus second quarter earnings. The company also raised its guidance.

Bausch Healthcare, formerly Valiant Pharmaceuticals (BHC $29.59 Cdn.) is expected to open higher after reporting higher than consensus second quarter revenues.

Mallinckrodt gained $3.35 to $27.70 after reporting higher than consensus second quarter earnings.
