Tech Talk for Tuesday February 26th 2019
U.S. equity index futures were lower this morning. S&P 500 futures were down 5 points in pre-opening trade.
Index futures were virtually unchanged following release of December Housing Starts released at 8:30 AM EST. Consensus was 1.253 million units versus 1.256 million units in November. Actual was 1.078 million units.
Bank of Montreal (BMO $99.18) is expected to open higher after reporting higher than consensus fiscal first quarter earnings.

Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS $75.42) is expected to open higher after increasing its quarterly dividend.

Home Depot dropped $4.67 to $185.31 after reporting lower than consensus fourth quarter earnings.

Caterpillar fell $5.41 to 136.00 after UBS downgraded the stock to Sell from Buy.
