U.S. equity index futures were lower this morning. S&P 500 futures were down 18 points in pre-opening trade.
Gap Stores dropped $0.30 to $8.46 after the company's Chief Executive Officer stepped down. The company also lowered second quarter guidance. Wells Fargo lowered its target price from $16 to $10.
Pepsico added $1.32 to $171.79 after reporting higher than consensus second quarter revenues and earnings.
Deere dropped $2.71 to $295.70 after JP Morgan lowered its target price from $370 to $325.
Caterpillar fell $2.33 to $172.69 after JP Morgan lowered its target price from $250 to $205.
