Aluminium The LME three-month aluminium price remains under pressure on Tuesday October 1, testing to a fresh multi-year low of $1,713.50 per tonne, although there are signs of indecision at these levels. Momentum indicators suggest prices are attempting to stabilize. The stochastics fast line has turned higher, as has the RSI, which at 30 is approaching oversold territory. Having broken below the June 17 and August 7 double-bottom at $1,745 per tonne, support is now seen toward $1,671 per tonne, where a series of lows stand between November 2016 and January 2017. On the upside, prices face resistance at $1,774-1,790 per tonne from the 20, 50 and 100 DMAs.
