LONDON, 29 July 2019 - Global gold trade body The London Bullion Market Association today publishes an article from BullionVault in its quarterly magazine, The Alchemist.
"July 2019 marks 20 years since the UK began its infamous gold auctions," writes BullionVault director of research Adrian Ash.
"The decision and its timing - announced two months in advance - knocked prices 10% lower before the first sale began.
"Why would a seller want to do that?"
