The IDEX Online Polished Price Report - December 2019

(IDEX Online) - Following on from November, the price of round diamonds continued to be fairly stable throughout December. That's not to say there were no changes. Goods below 0.70 carats saw positive changes, as did those sized 4-5 carats. However, in the important 0.90-1.00 carats, prices trended downwards as they did for diamonds sized 2.00-2.99 carats.

Smaller fancies, below 0.70 carats saw very little movement. The same was true of the larger stones above 3 carats, which were mostly at a standstill. Most of the changes were seen in goods sized between 0.70-1.24 carats, with price swings both upwards and downwards.

Following are some of the main changes in this week's IDEX Online Diamond Price Report.
