Newsletter writer Eric Coffin said August was a good month for junior financings but September went "ice cold."Eric Coffin, who is with Hard Rock Advisors, spoke to Kitco earlier this month at the Metals Investors Forum held in Vancouver. Coffin said a number of companies have found it extremely difficult to raise money. "That seems to be turning. I have seen several bought-deals announced," said Coffin. Coffin is hopeful the turnaround lasts and sparks a rally. "The market needs to see big successes. It needs to see Kirklands."In 2017 Kirkland Lake Gold started off the year as a $6.66 stock. It hit a high of $67.87 in 2019.
