GeoMega Resources (TSXV: GMA) president and CEO Kiril Mugerman discusses the problems with the current mining and processing of rare earth elements (REEs) that are critical to making rare earth magnets used in advanced technology, such as clean power generation, smartphones and electric vehicles.

Over the past five years, his Montreal-based firm has developed a proprietary, clean rare earths separation technology and has a goal of scaling it up to commercial production levels.
