The Third World isn't what it is made out to be. They stagnated after European colonial powers left, and became tyrannies. The last 30 years of their economic growth was an anomaly -- which was a product of the free-gift of western technology. Institutional decay in these countries has continued. Except for China, the future of the Third World is grim.
