LONDON, 2 October 2022 - New UK account openings at BullionVault have jumped amid the country's mini-budget financial slump, reports The Sunday Times, the UK's best-selling quality newspaper.
With mortgage lenders pulling deals as interest rates soar, "The number of investors buying gold for the first time was at its highest since Russia invaded Ukraine," says the paper, citing BullionVault.
