(Kitco News) - The uranium market has arguably the best fundamentals in thecommodity space right now, or any assetclass, said Mart Wolbert, founder and writer of the Contrarian Codexnewsletter.

"I would argue that uranium has the best fundamentalsunderpinnings of any investment asset class in the current market, even afterthis big run-up," Wolbert told David Lin, anchor for Kitco News. "Iwould argue that uranium would be one of the best, if not the best performinginvestment asset class in the coming one or two years."

The uranium market is currently in a market deficit, Wolbertnoted.

"A lot of people think that nuclear power is a dyingindustry but it's nowhere close to that. Recent numbers, and those are veryconservative numbers in my opinion, have nuclear grow at approximately 2.6% allthe way through 2040. That growth is coming mostly out of Asia, and a bit outof Africa as well," he said.
