Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) concluded its latest rough diamond tender earlier this month at the Dubai Diamond Exchange. The firm tendered productions from South Africa, Angola and Namibia. The firm said that "all materials were of high quality and high color and featured a significant number of large single stones and exceptional specials."
The tender was attended by more than 200 firms from India, Belgium and Israel. Total sales stood at of US$38.4 million, with 41,347 carats sold. The average price per carat realized was $928.
