TURKEY COATED FLAT STEEL: Prices increase on strong demand

Domestic Turkish prices for hot-dipped galvanized coil (HDG) and color-coated coil (pre-painted galvanized iron or PPGI) continued to increase in the week to Friday November 6, with demand reported to be strong, sources told Fastmarkets.

Coated coil prices increased on firm demand and increasing prices for hot-rolled coil, the base product for coated coil.
Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel HRC, domestic, exw Turkey was $550-560 per tonne on Friday, up $40 from $510-520 per tonne a week earlier.
