TURKEY FLAT STEEL: Price increases continue amid strong demand

Flat steel prices in the Turkish market continued to increase sharply during the week to Friday November 13, with demand remaining firm amid low stock levels, sources told Fastmarkets.

Domestic prices
Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment of steel hot-rolled coil, domestic, exw Turkey was $575-585 per tonne on Friday, up by $25 from $550-560 per tonne a week earlier.
Turkish HRC producers were offering at $580-595 per tonne ex-works for February production, compared with $550-560 per tonne ex-works last week.
Deals were heard at $575-580 per tonne ex-works during the week for Turkish HRC in the local market.
