TURKEY FLAT STEEL: Prices stable, demand moderate

March 07, 2020 / www.metalbulletin.com / Article Link

Flat steel prices were stable in Turkey in the week to Friday March 6, with only limited demand, sources told Fastmarkets.

Buyers were also uncertain about the direction of prices because of the global uncertainty caused by fears over spread of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

No cases have been announced yet in Turkey, but the outbreak has reached neighboring countries such as Greece and particularly Iran where the number of cases was closing in on 3,000 on Friday.
