TURKEY LONG STEEL: Domestic demand remains poor, buyers expect lower prices

The Turkish domestic long steel markets have continued to suffer from weak demand over the past week, with buyers expecting further decreases in prices, sources said on Thursday July 9.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel reinforcing bar (rebar), domestic, exw Turkey, was unchanged week on week at 3,350-3,400 lira ($488-495) per tonne on Thursday, including 18% VAT.
