TURKEY LONG STEEL: Domestic prices down with falling scrap costs

Domestic rebar and wire rod prices in Turkey have gone down this week on falling imported scrap values, market sources said on Thursday March 18.

Turkish deep-sea scrap import prices have made a downward correction in the past week because of strong supplies, with limited steel sales being another reason for mills to stay away from the market.
