TURKEY LONG STEEL EXPORTS: Prices down again as virus measures limit demand

The Turkish long steel export markets continue to suffer from the restrictions arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, which have sharply reduced demand over the past week, sources said on Thursday April 2.

Steel producers in Turkey reduced their rebar export offers to $380-390 per tonne fob on an actual weight basis this week, from last week's $390-395 per tonne.
But buyers' bids were only heard around $360-365 per tonne fob, according to mill sources.
