TURKEY LONG STEEL EXPORTS: Prices up on strong demand, higher scrap costs

Export prices for Turkish rebar and wire rod have continued to improve over the past week thanks to firm demand and increasing scrap costs, sources said on Thursday November 12.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel reinforcing bar (rebar), export, fob main port Turkey, was $470-475 per tonne on Thursday, up from last week's $450-455 per tonne fob on an actual weight basis.
