TURKEY LONG STEEL: Prices slide on weakening market fundamentals

Turkish domestic long steel prices have corrected downward slightly over the past week amid unfavorable fundamentals, Fastmarkets learned on Thursday July 2.

Generally, modest demand for finished long steel in the country, together with declining import scrap costs, have had an effect on domestic rebar and wire rod prices, sources said.
