TURKEY LONG STEEL: Scrap costs downturn cools domestic price

Domestic long steel prices in Turkey fell for the first time since mid-April due to weakening scrap import values, market sources said on Thursday May 27.

Turkish steel producers resumed their deep-sea scrap bookings after a brief period using US-origin cargo at a lower price.
