Turkey's automotive output down 5.74% year on year in 2019

Turkey's vehicle output totaled 1,461,244 units in 2019, down by 5.74% from 1,550,260 vehicles the previous year, the Turkish Automotive Manufacturers Association (OSD) said on Sunday January 12.

Domestic vehicle sales of 491,909 units last year is down by 23.32% from 641,550 vehicles in 2018.
The country exported 1,252,586 vehicles in 2019, a decline of 5.03% from 1,318,869 vehicles the previous year, OSD data show.
