Turkish steelmaker Bor??elik gets $11.8mln loan to cut carbon emissions

Turkish flat steel re-roller and coated steel producer Bor??elik has received a loan of ?,?10 million ($11.82 million) from the ING Turkey Bank, a company source told Fastmarkets on Friday September 10.

The loan will be used in the reduction of carbon emissions, by cutting the energy consumption of the plant, and was scheduled to be paid back in two years' time.
