Two Jailed for $400,000 Armed Raid on Jewelry Store

(IDEX Online) - Two men have been jailed for a $400,000 armed raid on a jewelry store on the outskirts of Chicago, USA. They stole watches by Frederique Constant, Patek Phillipe and Tudor, as well as high-value jewelry from Razny Jewelers (pictured) in Hinsdale, Ilinois, in March 2017.The defendants later "sold, attempted to sell, or disposed of some of the stolen items" in the Chicago area and in Atlanta, according to police.During the raid, Tobias Diggs, 28, pointed a gun at a female employee, hit her with it, then dragged her by her hair to a back room, while he and the others gang members stole jewelry. He was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison.Co-defendant Joshua McClellan, 32, was sentenced to eight years for his role in the robbery. Another suspect is on the run and a fourth has not been identified.
