SASKATCHEWAN - With the final summer drill holes, Toronto-based Denison Mines Corp. says it has extended the high grade Huskie zone at the Waterbury Lake uranium project in the Athabasca Basin. The high grade, basement-hosted mineralization has now been expanded to 100 metres along strike, and it remains open in both directions.

The company noted these highlights from the final holes: 1.0% uranium oxide over 7.6 metres, including 4.6% eU3O8 over 1.4 metres in drill hole WAT17-449, and 0.8% eU3O8 over 7.9 metres, including 3.3% eU3O8 over 1.0 metre and 1.3% eU3O8 over 1.0 metre in hole WAT17-450A.

The Huskie zone is interpreted as being geologically similar to the Roughrider and J zones a kilometre to the south. As of Dec. 31, 2016, the J zone at Waterbury Lake contained 291.0 million indicated tonnes grading 2.0 eU3O8.

Denison has a 63% interest in the Waterbury project. The balance is held by Korea Waterbury Uranium LP. Information is available at www.DenisonMines.com.
