(IDEX Online) - The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) is urging US diamantaires to show their support during a four-day sales event in New York.It says it has suffered a "significant drop in activity" since the war began in Gaza, following Hamas's massacre of 1,400 people on 7 October.IDE is calling on diamond traders across the US to show their support for the Israeli industry and stock up on goods for the holiday period. The event will be held from November 27 to 30 on the new trading floor of the New York Diamond Dealers Club.IDE President Boaz Moldawsky said: "The special sales event is intended to strengthen ties between Israeli and American diamantaires and to create business opportunities during this very difficult period. "We hope to see a huge turnout of diamantaires who 'Stand with Israel' at this challenging time.
