The latest ferrous scrap cargo sold out of the United States to Turkey saw prices for an 80:20 mix of No 1 and No 2 heavy melting scrap drop by $28 per tonne, continuing a trend of falling prices seen throughout this summer - and exacerbated by increasing trade tensions this month.
