US hot-rolled coil index hovers near $91/cwt

Hot-rolled coil prices in the United States remained near $91 per hundredweight ($1,820 per short ton) on Thursday July 15, one day after exceeding that threshold for the first time.

Fastmarkets' daily steel hot-rolled coil index, fob mill US was calculated at $90.93 per cwt ($1,818.60 per ton) on July 15, down by 0.44% from $91.33 per cwt on Wednesday July 14 but up by 1.63% from $89.47 per cwt one week earlier.
