US hot-rolled coil index tops $96.50/cwt for 3rd day

Hot-rolled coil prices in the United States stood firmly above $96.50 per hundredweight ($1,930 per short ton) for a third consecutive business day, while sources remained split as to whether hot band prices are beginning to plateau.
