US ITC, Commerce launch probe into common alloy Al sheet

The United States' International Trade Commission (ITC) and Department of Commerce have launched separate investigations into imports of common alloy aluminium sheet from 18 countries, the Aluminum Association told Fastmarkets on Friday March 13.

The investigations follow petitions filed by the Aluminum Association's Common Alloy Aluminum Sheet Working Group on March 9.The Aluminum Association, along with its members, including Aleris Rolled Products, Arconic Inc, Constellium Rolled Products, JW Aluminum, Daniel Island, Novelis and Texarkana Aluminum, charged that common alloy aluminium sheet imports from Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Oman, Romania, Serbia,...
