Vietnam's Southern Steel Sheet Co (SSSC) is targeting a larger share of the coated coil market by adding a third galvanizing line to its Nhon Trach operations in the country's Dong Nai province.
Italian equipment supplier Tenova will supply the company - a joint venture of Vietnam Steel Corp, Japan's Sumitomo Corp and Malaysia's FIW Steel - with a galvanized coil line with capacity of 150,000 tonnes per year using cold-rolled and hot-rolled coils, Tenova said last week.Tenova previously supplied SSSC with a 150,000 tpy aluminium-zinc or zinc-coated galvanizing line and a 70,000-tpy color-coating line, which came on stream in 2013, at the same location of the Nhon Phu industrial...
