Violent "Rolex Rippers" Caught by Gloating Selfies

(IDEX Online) - A gang of armed "Rolex rippers" were caught after posing for pictures of themselves wearing the stolen watches.Police in London recovered the gloating selfies from a cell phone left behind after two suspects abandoned a stolen BMW after a high-speed chase and ran off.  They and their accomplices were identified from pictures on the phone.Six men were found guilty of spree of violent watch robberies in the Chelsea and Balham areas of the capital earlier this week. They threatened their victims with a large machete and knives, a jury at Isleworth Crown Court heard.In one attack two of the perpetrators, armed with a knife and a crowbar, confronted their victim in broad daylight and forced him to hand over a ?, ?1,500 Tag Heuer watch.In another attack they forced two men sitting outside a pub to hand over their Patek Phillipe and Breguet watches, each valued at ?, ?35,000.Pic courtesy Metropolitan Police, shows Roshan Clark, 18, posing with two of the stolen watches
